Ealaín na Gaeltachta Teo. promotes the development of the contemporary and the traditional arts in the Gaeltacht and is a joint venture between Údarás na Gaeltachta and the Arts Council. Ealaín na Gaeltachta provides services and grant schemes that support the development of arts organisations and individual artists.

Ceangal Dolen II
10-13 November 2020
Ceangal/Dolen is a sectoral conference for the Irish language, Scots Gaelic and Welsh language theatre. This year it will take place between the 10th-13th of November online. It stimulates discussion between practitioners, producers, academics, funders and national organisations from Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Ceangal/Dolen II is convened by NUI Galway, Ealaín na Gaeltachta, Theatre Gu Leòr and An Taibhdhearc.

Ealaín na Gaeltachta Teo. offers three annual funding schemes – Scéim na bhFéilte (Festivals Scheme), Scéim na bPríomhréimsí (Funding Core Projects) and the Scéim Sparánachta (Bursary Scheme). Scéim Síol, which offers seed funding and support for smaller-scale initiatives, is open for applications year round. Information on all of the schemes is available from the Arts Facilitators.
