Culture Night in the Gaeltacht

Culture Night is an annual national event that showcases the cultural life of this country and which allows us a unique opportunity to participate in cultural, arts and heritage events, free of charge.

This year Culture Night takes place on Friday 18th September. This year it will be based on a mix of online events (live or pre-recorded) and live events that comply with the Social Distancing regulations.

For the eleventh year in a row Ealaín (na Gaeltachta) Teo. is co-ordinating Culture Night events in the Gaeltacht and to this end we are inviting applications from individuals or groups who wish to organise a live event to celebrate Culture Night. We  also welcome applications involving youth or allowing the youth to celebrate their culture.

* Priority will be given to groups / individuals who connect and collaborate with other groups to run a series of events. Where it is clear that co-operation involves running a series of events in a particular area, the maximum amount of support may be increased
