Ealaín na Gaeltachta Teo. promotes the development of the contemporary and the traditional arts in the Gaeltacht and is a joint venture between Údarás na Gaeltachta and the Arts Council.
Ealaín na Gaeltachta provides services and grant schemes that support the development of arts organisations and individual artists. We also support training and mentoring support, as well as supporting initiatives that help build the capacity of and infrastructure for the arts in the Gaeltacht.
Siubhán Nic Grianna, Language Planning Manager, promotes the work of Údarás and its activities in relation to Irish language planning, enterprise development and job creation. She works closely with organisation such as Ealaín na Gaeltachta and the language planning officers and committees to ensure that the public, other state agencies and all stakeholders are cognisant of the work that Údarás does and supports the active role that the Gaeltacht community play in economic, social, and cultural development of their communities.

Miriam works in the Enterprise & Employment Division in Údarás and has specific responsibility for client companies in the content creation/audiovisual and life science sectors. Miriam has a keen interest in the arts, particularly amateur drama.

Paddy Glackin, a well-known fiddler, is a Dublin native. Paddy was a founding member of the ‘Bothy Band.’ He has been presented with TG4 Music Award for Musician of the Year in Irish Traditional Music and has been praised for his contribution to music in Ireland for over 50 years. He also worked as a broadcaster, editor, and producer for RTÉ for many years.

Lís is from the West Kerry Gaeltacht. She is working with TG4 since its launch, currently as Director of Marketing, Development & Partnerships, and previously as Director of Acquisitions & Output. Lís played a key role in developing TG4’s children’s output Cúla4 and the TG4 channel brand. Lís has a post graduate Diploma in Arts Administration and prior to working in TV, she spent time working with the Gaelic Arts Project in Scotland and with the theatre group Na Fánaithe. She has a keen interest in community and youth based arts projects.

Máire Áine is a Placement Officer in the University of Galway. She is responsible for the administration of the Work Placement Register for students who are undertaking a BA with Irish and students who are studying Law with Irish. Originally from Ceantar na nOileán, one of the islands in southwestern Connemara, Máire now lives in An Ceathrú Rua.

Mícheál Ó Drisleáin is a former Director of Coláiste na Rinne, in Gaeltacht na Déise. He has obtained a PhD in Irish from University College, Cork and is working as a business/marketing consultant.
